"Sorry for the long gap in updates! Since my last update, I have left India and Nepal and returned to the US to continue my studies (and continue doing performances in US and Canada.) I am back at Buffalo, continuing my Asian Studies major and also studying Tibetan. I am having a lot of fun here, but I miss India very badly.
By the time most of you read this, I will be in Tibet. Yes, I am going to Tibet. I have kept it on the downlow, because up until recently all of my plans were tentative. I will be mostly going as a tourist but you might catch me singing in Lhasa if you are at the right Nangma on the right night. If I get good advanced warning, the location will be up online
I've been keeping busy and I am looking forward to remaining busy next semester as well. I am hoping to go somewhere interesting for Losar this year...not sure where.
I want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support in this difficult time since summer. I appreciate your care and your prayers for my family. Everything helps.
I also want to thank all of you for voting for me for Best International Artiste in the Tibetan Music Awards. I really can't express how much your support means.
